Get To The Tower

JSOC alerted Psycho to give him an update on the situation. Radio communication was impossible at this point, given the scrambling effect of the sphere. A VTOL with the ability to capture the container was nearby, but needed to be guided to the location by Psycho and not JSOC.

However, the radio in Psycho's Nanosuit was not powerful enough to accomplish this task. JSOC pointed toward the tower at the airstrip. It should have the power to reach the VTOL. So, Psycho's next objective was to secure the tower. Like his previous tower experience, the tower was not close by and was at the other end of the landing strip.

Psycho made sure all of his weapons were in good shape and that he still had three rockets in his rocket launcher. Another munitions dump was used to reload, that had been previously marked by JSOC on his radar.

As Psycho scanned the area, he noticed the Korean People's Army (KPA) chopper remains burning on the airstrip. That was a reminder of how things started just a few minutes ago.

There was an Armored Scout Vehicle (ASV) parked near Psycho. This might be the perfect vehicle of choice to reach the tower. However, Psycho needed to scan the area first, as tanks and rockets would certainly play into the stability of the ASV.

Quickly, Psycho noticed another tank patrolling the area. JSOC warned that the area could be heavily armed and to use caution. They were correct.

Psycho launched two rockets directly at the tank and it was destroyed in it's place. A few KPA troops came running toward him, who were taken down by the long range power of the SCAR.
Psycho then dropped back to the munitions dump, exchanged rocket launchers and loaded up in the ASV.

He parked the ASV and scanned the area. The tower was a long distance away and he noted more tanks in the area.

Psycho drove the ASV in a criss cross motion across the landing strip - taking out KPA troops with the guns on the ASV or by simply running them over. Then, he would park the ASV under cover, go into prone mode, then use rockets to destroy any heavy machinery that were focused on him.

In the end, the ASV was still in decent shape when Psycho reached the tower.

Inside the compound around the tower, several more KPA troops were guarding the area. The SCAR was the perfect weapon of choice and Psycho cleared the area before heading up the stairs leading to the tower. One KPA troop had a Guass rifle. This might come in handy if Psycho runs out of ammo for his Guass rifle.

With the airfield clear, Psycho reached the tower and the radio.

Psycho began to radio the pilot of the VTOL when he saw something appear in the distance.

He could not believe his eyes.
