Colonel Lee

The blast from the crate in the cargo sub knocked Sergeant Michael "Psycho" Sykes out completely. He could not remember the last time he felt such a shot of pain race through his body. Is this what it felt like for Aztec when he was melted just a few days ago on this very same mission?

Psycho wasn't dead, but he was in a serious amount of pain.

When his eyes focused he found himself reacquainted with Colonel Lee of the Korean People's Army (KPA). A few armed KPA troops remained near-by. Psycho's guns were nowhere to be found.

Colonel Lee knew about the Delta Force. He knew of them very well. When Psycho looked closer, he realized Lee was wearing a Nanosuit of his own. How did he get his hands on this technology?

Lee was upset because the latest count showed Psycho himself had personally destroyed well over 250 KPA troops since their paths crossed not too long ago. For those dead comrades, Lee figured it was time to even the score.

He used a small device to "calibrate" the Nanosuit. This calibration process caused the suit to get tighter, only to lead to severe pain while the Nanosuit tried to compensate - to the point where it could tear the skin from one's flesh.

Psycho cried out that he was a Prisoner of War (PoW) at this point. Lee stopped and pointed out that the Nanosuit is not a recognized uniform by the Geneva Convention and that it invalidated his rights. So, he was fair game without the fear of recourse from a mediator down the road.

Lee walked away and a KPA soldier approached Psycho to place his pistol directly against his head. Was this the end for Psycho? I am certain that crossed his mind a few times during those seconds where the cold steel rested against his forehead.

Just before the trigger was released sending the lead bullet into Psycho's skull, the entire area was hit with a glacier-like breeze. This was the same level of temperature I (Nomad) experienced when I finally escaped from that huge rock containing our visitors.

The Nanosuit provided adequate protection for Psycho, but the KPA troops were frozen to death instantly. For now, Psycho's life would be spared. However, he had to get up and start moving to avoid the Nanosuit freezing up and shutting down. He had to find a way out of that cargo sub.

After looking inside the sub, the only way out was through the top of the sub. So, he moved some boxes into position and climbed to the top of Project 914. From the higher vantage point, Psycho realized he was not alone.

Psycho noticed that Colonel Lee had unloaded the cargo unit that contained the unknown contents he had been instructed by JSOC to investigate. Now, Lee was about to drive off with the cargo with the assistance of a hovercraft and his Nanosuit.

Psycho had to stop them any way that he could.

Hijack The Hovercraft

Psycho realized that he had to stop Colonel Lee and rescue that crate before he reached his destination. Whatever was in that crate was extremely dangerous. After all, it knocked Psycho out cold while his Nanosuit was in Armor mode.

With his Nanosuit now coming back online, he had to gather up some weapons before heading toward Lee. The Nanosuit is not at an advantage when Lee had a Nanosuit of his own. So, some weapony was probably a great idea. Just how did the KPA get their hands on this technology?

Psycho looked up in the sky and noticed some crazy activity above that huge mountainous rock. This was the same rock I (Nomad) had just escaped from just after I saw the visitors for the very first time. The view was daunting.

Colonel Lee had just vacated the area. However, another Hovercraft remained in the area. It was guarded by a handful of KPA troops. None of them were wearing Nanosuits, so they were easy to take down.

Once inside the Hovercraft, Psycho made contact with Emerson from JSOC. The container with Lee had been downloaded to his local map display on his Nanosuit.

The instructions were simple, stay alive and head toward Colonel Lee. The most important part, don't let anything distract from the mission. Psycho thought to himself, what could possibly distract him?

He was about to find out on many levels.
